SYNOPSIS

Sprout is a light-hearted 3D animated short for children!
Carolina Bermúdez pitched, wrote, directed, and animated on Sprout for her final capstone project at Missouri State University for the Electronic Arts class of 2024.
The story follows Sprout, a tiny robot, who becomes overwhelmed by his list of garden tasks that he’s unable to complete. After chaos ensues, Sprout learns that it’s ok to accept help from others and accomplishes his tasks through teamwork.

DEVELOPMENT
Carolina's goal was to create a film for children struggling with anxiety. Growing up, we can all feel overwhelmed sometimes, just as Sprout does!
Sprout's story expresses to children that if you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious, it's ok to ask friends for help. The film follows the theme of teamwork, demonstrating how working together can help overcome hard feelings and lead to accomplishing your goals.
Through Sprout's silly nature and his fun loving friends, kids and families everywhere are able to enjoy Sprout the robot's determination.
